Ohio girls soccer players honored on All-East District list

Seven local area girls soccer players made the first-team All-Eastern District list released Tuesday.

Senior Mary Marshall represents Big Red on the first team. Making the second team are junior Chloe Petrelle and sophomore Jaleyss Scales. Senior Lakyn Blackburn, as well as juniors Libby Saccoccia and Isabella Phillips, are honorable mentions.

For Catholic Central, senior Bri DeChristopher is a first-team member. Senior Ellen Rohde and sophomore Maria Meyer are on the second team. Honorable mentions are juniors Becca Bolster and Miryam Gonzalez.

Three Indian Creek seniors made the first team. They are Rileigh Gualtiere, Abby Copeland and Hailey Clark. Seniors Makenzie Taylor and Emily Buchanon earned second-team honors, while junior Sam Ratkovec and sophomore Abby Starkey are honorable mentions.

Junior Laine Murphey represents Edison on the first team. Junior Madison Brenstuhl is a second teamer. On the honrable mention list are senior Elizabeth Montgomery and juniors Chloe Bond and Delaney Johnson.

As for Harrison Central, senior Britton Positano is a first-team member. On the second team are seniors Brittani Ryser and Jenna Easlick. Honorable mentions are senior Kerstin Jeffries, sophomore Gracie Rogers and freshman Angi Ferri.
