STEUBENVILLE -- Dr. Michael Michael Hromanik, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, has joined Trinity Health System.
Originally from the Pittsburgh area, Hromanik holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy and a master's in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Hromanik attended the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minn., and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. He completed a fellowship in foot and ankle orthopedic surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
"We are excited to welcome Hromanik to the physician enterprise," said Steve Lauck, Trinity physician enterprise orthopedic practice manager. "Hromanik is looking forward to serving the rural communities in the area."
Hromanik is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society. He will have office hours in Steubenville, Calcutta and Cadiz. He resides in the Pittsburgh area with his wife, Angela, and their children, Natalya, Ashley and George.
"Hromanik brings a strong level of experience and expertise that will enhance our already exceptional orthopedic services" said Matt Grimshaw, Trinity's president and chief executive officer.
The orthopedic and sports medicine service line continues to grow and serve communities in outreach clinic settings, officials said. This brings the availability of seamless transition and coordination of care. Outreach clinics offer an array of ancillary services including physical and occupational therapies, laboratory services, radiology services and more, officials said.
The THS Physician Enterprise is comprised of 50 physicians serving the local area including general practice, sports medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, cardiology, bariatrics and more. To make an appointment with Hromanik, call (855) 666 -7846.
