The Tri-State Community Band, under the direction of Johnny Leonard, served as the headlining act at the Weirton Event Center Friday. Local musician Dave Morgan also performed. The show was part of the Weirton summer concert series, organized by the Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau. The series will continue this Friday with De'Ja'Vu and Kylar Kuzio, with a special show on Saturday featuring Pittsburgh native and "American Idol" finalist Gabby Barrett. Performances begin at 7 p.m. — Craig Howell
