Post 33 set to host district series

RICHMOND -- Jefferson County Teramana Post 33 will host the American Legion District Championship Series against New Philadelphia Saturday and, if needed, Sunday at the Edison Unified Sports Complex.

The teams, who split a regular season set of two games, will square off in a best-of-three series to determine who moves on to the state tournament.

The first two games of the series will be played in a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. If a decisive third game is needed, it will be played Sunday at 1 p.m.
