Flea market set in Weirton

WEIRTON -- The Weirton American Legion Post 10, located at 3140 Pennsylvania Ave., will hold a flea market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The event will feature more than 20 tables, including homemade baked goods, vintage items and sports memorabilia. The community is invited to attend.

SHS Class of '67 luncheon

The Weir High Class of '67 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bennigan's, located at 185 Franciscan Square off University Boulevard. All classmates and their spouses are welcome to attend.

Knights to hold installation dinner

MINGO JUNCTION -- The Mingo Knights of Columbus will hold a dinner to install new officers and recognize members and friends who sold tickets during the spring. The dinner will be held at 6 p.m. July 20 at the Knights of Columbus hall, located on the village's Legion Drive. There is no cost for the dinner. Outdoor movie night set

FOLLANSBEE -- The Nazarene Church will hold an outdoor movie night, weather permitting, at 9 p.m. July 21 at the church, located at 144 Mahan Lane. The community is invited to attend the event, where free snacks and drinks will be offered. Those attending are asked to bring their own chair.

Cat yoga class being offered

NEW CUMBERLAND -- Officials are inviting the public to attend an hour of gentle yoga with the adoptable cats at the Hancock County Humane Foundation. The event will take place at noon July 22 at 241 Ohio River Blvd., New Cumberland.

The class rate for beginners is $25 and the environment is kid-friendly.

All proceeds benefit homeless cats at the foundation.

Weirton center to hold host of events

WEIRTON -- The Weirton Senior Center will hold a rummage sale, along with a book sale and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 26 at the center, located at 3425 Main St.

The center's next dance will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 3. Jack Thomas will be playing music that evening. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. The center will supply the punch and hotdogs, as well as the dessert. The cost is $5.
