The Harrison Coal and Reclamation Historical Park, located at 43672 Stumptown Road in Cadiz, will be the location for the annual fall show taking place Sept. 7-8. Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 7 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 8. The event will feature working and static-restored antique excavating equipment, according to officials, who explained some equipment pieces are one-of-a-kind. A Michigan loader that was donated to the group was previously used as a prototype and test machine for designing 475c loaders. Never put into production, the loader is now being used to do what it was intended to do when built -- digging. Founded in 1992, the HCRHP is dedicated to the preservation of mining, excavating and other equipment. Machines on site will include, bulldozers, a Marion 111 dragline, cranes and various Gradalls. The fall show will feature a flea market, the Hillbilly Hotdogz and Such food truck and a children's area. Ice Cream Island will be on site, Sunday. Admission at the gate will be $5. Parking is free of charge. Membership dues are $15 per year for those interested in joining. For information, contact Amy Welch (330) 401-9881.
