STEUBENVILLE -- The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced the following lineup of programs and activities:

Adults: Book club will meet for discussion on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. The group will discuss Barbara Delinsky's "Before and Again." Call to join.
Brilliant Branch, (740) 598-4028
Children: Play and Learn the Alphabet for children ages 2-6 is Tuesday at 11 a.m. Children will play with letter-learning toys that will help them with early literacy skills.
Adults: Book club will meet for discussion on Monday at 6 p.m. Call to join.

Children: Story Time for children, ages 5-10, will be at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Adults: Author Joe Martelle will visit the library branch on Sept. 1 at 3:45 p.m. to discuss his new book, "The Robert Urich Story -- An Extraordinary Life," the first and only authorized biography of the Toronto native. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Attend the library's genealogy class to learn how to use the Family Search database. This popular e-resource will help those who are researching family history. The genealogy class will be held Aug. 29, beginning at 6 p.m. Registration is required by calling the library.
