The Toronto Police Department and State Farm insurance agent Toni Moreland teamed to donate about $2,300 in school supplies to pupils at Toronto Elementary School and the school district's preschool program. Toronto Police Capt. Derrick Piatt said that a couple of years ago, his wife, Jessica, suggested using funds left over from the department's Shop with a Cop Christmas program to provide school supplies to local children, and it has continued with the help of Moreland. Kneeling at right are the Piatts. Behind them, from left, are Toronto Police Department officers Sgt. Jared Rock, Chief Charley Daniels, Moreland and Patrolman Ryan Franke. At left are staff members.
