Sycamore introduces Sketch Comedy Club

STEUBENVILLE — The Sycamore Youth Center is teaming with the Guadalupe Theater Co. to introduce a new creative opportunity for area youth. The pair will be launching a Sketch Comedy Club, designed to give participants hands-on experience in the arts of acting, writing and directing. The club will hold its first meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Sycamore Youth Center, located at 301 N. Fourth St. in Steubenville. Ohio County Library to hold adult spelling bee

WHEELING — The Friends of the Ohio County Library will host their second-annual Spelling Bee for Grown-Ups on Feb. 21 in the auditorium of the Ohio County Public Library. Laura Jackson will serve as host and emcee of the event, along with disc jockey Jermaine Lucious. The bee will include 10 teams competing for spelling prizes and prizes for best costume, according to organizers.
