Steubenville Police Can’t help himself: A man in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue was harassing utility workers, Monday. The workers advised the man was yelling at them “for no apparent reason” and pointed out the male involved, who took off running when he saw police going toward him. They found him in a yard in the 1300 block of Oregon Avenue, holding an open can of beer. Steubenville Police Wrong answer: A man purporting to be a physician tried to call in a prescription for promethazine, an antihistamine, for a woman, “Cindy,” Friday. Employees at Walgreens said the caller tried to use the doctor’s information, but when they asked for his credentials “the caller (said) he would have to call them back,” at which point the employee told him “she did not believe (he) was actually (the doctor)” and he hung up.
