Charles A. Prentice III, affectionately known as “Ham,” 55, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at UPMC Passavant in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Born February 2, 1970, he was the son of Charles A. Prentice Jr. and Clarissa Carney Speaker and a graduate of Wintersville High School, Class of 1988. Charles was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; his bonus brother, Paul Speaker; and his bonus father, William “Daddy Bill” Speaker.
