Mr. and Mrs. Jim Conley
WEIRTON — Mr. and Mrs. Jim Conley of Weirton are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Conley and the former Nancy Ann Blankenship were united in marriage on June 19, 1970, at Memorial Baptist Church in Weirton with the Rev. Pelton Vandercoy officiating.
He worked as a roll grinder in the strip steel department at Weirton Steel Co. before his retirement. He is the son of the late Robert and Patty Conley.
She is the daughter of the late Norell “Mac” and Maxine Blankenship and was a first-grade teacher in Hancock County.
The couple have three children: Patrick Conley of Kentucky, Brian Conley of Weirton and Amy Conley of Weirton.
They have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A family celebration is planned.
