McDonald — Dear
TORONTO — Jerri Lynn McDonald and Terry Alan Dear Sr. of Toronto were united in marriage on June 20, 2020, at Hidden Acres Lodge in Mingo Junction. Their friend, Dave Long, officiated the evening ceremony. The reception was held there as well.
The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Wendy McDonald of Steubenville. The groom is the son of Tina Dear of Weirton.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore an ivory gown with a blush underlayer. Soft panels of floral with scalloped lace accented the appliqued bodice of the hand-beaded sweetheart A-line style dress.
Samantha McDonald, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Kristina Shelton, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Victoria Dear, daughter of the couple, and Julie Pacholarz and Stephanie Ford. Lundyn Dear, daughter of the couple, was flower girl.
Bob Lamantia served as the groom’s best man. Groomsmen were John Dunn, Paul Rodriquez and Dave Rawley. Terry Dear Jr., son of the couple, was ring bearer.
The bride is a 2012 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a clinical coordinator for HealthHelp.
The groom is a 2019 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in computer security and forensics.
The couple reside in Toronto and plan to honeymoon once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
