Arrested: Michael J.T. Caldwell, 26, 2400 Oakwood Road, Alexandria, Va., operating a vehicle under the influence and obstructing official business, Sunday. Also cited for hit-skip. Caldwell allegedly struck a vehicle parked in the 900 block of North Seventh St., then left the scene.
Cited: Jody Petros, 49, 426 Cove Road, Weirton, driving under suspension; Robert Sadler, 20, 300 Maxwell Ave., Steubenville, loud radio; Dequa L. Harrison, 29, 201 Spring Ave., Steubenville, stop sign violation and excessive tint.
Entered: The owner of a property in the 700 block of Kendall Avenue reported finding two individuals inside residence, Saturday. The pair fled through a back door, but the complainant and a companion followed and accosted them in the neighboring yard. The underage son of one of the men threatened to shoot the property owners, they said. Police found a large section of duct work laying outside the back door and several other pieces stashed in a blue van. A side door was kicked open and the rear door forced open, police said.
Improper touching: A woman in the 700 block of Market Street said a man made unwanted advances on her and a friend, Sunday.
Theft: A Dresden Avenue resident told police someone stolen temporary vehicle tags and destroyed her front lights, Saturday.
