Jefferson County sheriff

Domestic: A deputy responded to a domestic in Island Creek Township, Sunday. According to the report, a woman said she set a box of her boyfriend's things outside and he threw a coffee table at her, then took her phone, pushed and body slammed her onto the bed. The man said she began yelling at him and hit him.

Arrested: Gregory Lekanudos, 29, 16 Oak St., Bridgeport, two counts of telephone harassment, Saturday.

Toronto

Arrested: Edward C. Dameron, 32, Apartment 64, 901 Bank St., fugitive from another state, Sunday.

Arrested: Steven J. Smith, 49, 813 Jefferson St., bond violation, April 29.

Arrested: Bill Yasho, 54, 929 Banfield Ave., telecommunication harassment, Monday.

Charged: Shane T. Stromeyer, 26, 505 C Harrison St., Empire, driving while suspended and fictitious plates, April 24.

Charged: Rick A. Boughton, 55, 716 Pierce Ave., driving while suspended, May 2.

Cited: Sarah H. Green, 50, Apartment A, 1020 South River Ave., red light violation; and Cody Stewart, 36, 45 Yardley Lane, New Cumberland, failure to control.

Jefferson County sheriff

Assault: The sheriff's department responded to a report of an assault in Island Creek Township, Monday. According to the report, the caller said their daughter was assaulted by their visiting son. The report said the woman's daughter was upset and the woman was holding her to calm her down. The man became upset, began yelling and striking the woman in the face, the report said. According to the report, the man left and the woman was observed to have a bruised and swollen shut eye. The man was not located.

Steubenville police

Theft: A woman reported her vehicle had been entered and rummaged through, Monday. According to the report, the woman said only some loose change was missing. The property manager told police similar incidents had occurred with other vehicles.

Fraud: Police received a report someone filled out paperwork to transfer funds some another person's pension plan, Monday. According to the report, the company became suspicious when the signatures did not match.

Juvenile problem: Police received a report of a group of juveniles causing a disturbance at a store on Mall Drive, Monday. The report said there were five or six juveniles harassing store employees and creating a disturbance.

Fight: Police responded to the 400 block of Sixth Street in regards to a fight, Tuesday. According to the report, a crowd of females and one male was seen on camera, but disbursed prior to the police arriving.

Arrested: Fred Roman, 60, no fixed address, trespassing warrant, Monday.

Brooke County sheriff

Arrested: Tara M. Worrell, 45, 398 May Road, Follansbee, battery and possession of marijuana, Thursday.

Arrested: Gordon W. Durbin Jr., 28, 222 Jones Lane, Wellsburg, wanton endangerment with a firearm, Friday.
