Brooke County sheriff

Arrested: Nicole B. Thornton, 34, 2925 Elm St., Weirton, driving under the influence, June 20.

Arrested: Kenneth C. Richardson, 36, 119 Dawson Lane, Follansbee, unlawful taking of a vehicle, June 23.

Arrested: Henry A. Long IV, 34, 120 Liberty Ave., Weirton, driving while license revoked for driving under the influence, June 25.

Arrested: Shawn B. Liggett, 43, 2404 A Main St., Wellsburg, obstructing, fleeing on foot, trespassing, violation of protective order, domestic battery, harassment by electronic device and petit larceny, Friday.

Steubenville police

Arrested: Stacy Antill, 48, 911 Biltmore Ave., Toronto, warrant for failure to appear, Tuesday.

Arrested: Jeremy Aracich, 39, 83 Delta Lane, Colliers, failure to appear, Tuesday. Aracich also was cited for having an open container after callers reported a man drinking alcohol at a youth league baseball game. Police allege Aracich admitted he had beer in a Gatorade bottle.

Arrested: Ricki Britton, 35, 416 Madison St., tampering with evidence, conveyance of drugs, criminal trespass and two counts of possession of drugs, Tuesday. Britton allegedly had suboxone tablets but no prescription. While she was being booked into jail, police said a female corrections officers discovered a tube with a white, rock-like substance that tested positive for cocaine base concealed on her person.

Arrested: Dierre Stephen Jackson, 37, no fixed address, public intoxication, Tuesday. Jackson was invited to go to the homeless shelter, but declined. He was transported to the county jail when he tried to walk away after telling police "he was not going to the shelter and he was free to leave."

Arrested: Ronald Chad May, 46, 247 N. Ninth St., operating a vehicle under the influence, Tuesday.

Wardrobe malfunction: A man walking in the 1900 block of Oregon told police he "didn't think people would (notice)" he was in his underwear, Tuesday. Police took the man home.

Resistance: A Colliers man claimed his girlfriend was being held hostage by three women in an apartment on Harding Avenue, Tuesday. When he attempted to get to her, the man said he "was beaten by the females." The women said he'd kicked the door in "while attempting to harm" their friend, who subsequently told police she was in fear of the man and wanted him to leave.

Vandalized: A Maryland Avenue resident told police a man who came to her residence looking for his girlfriend hurled a brick through the window because he didn't believe she was not there, Wednesday.

Overdosed: A man slumped behind the wheel of a car parked in a hotel parking lot told police he wasn't sure what drug he took, "but it must have had fentanyl," Wednesday. Police said they had to administer Narcan to the man, whose skin was grayish and was sweating profusely when they arrived on scene.

Removed: Two abandoned vehicles towed from rear of 1301 Belleview Blvd., Tuesday. While at the scene police marked a third vehicle for towing, this one with expired plates and parked in the alley.

Argument: Three women in the 700 block of Market Street argued about a child being allowed to cross the street without an adult, Tuesday.

Move them along: Three vehicles parked in front of a Lawson Avenue residence were marked for towing because they "had not been moved in some time," Tuesday.

Cited: John E. Gentile, 47, 1905 Oregon Ave., defective/unsafe equipment.

Jefferson County sheriff

Stolen: A Steubenville resident reported a gun he'd left under the seat in a friend's car while he went in a bar was stolen, Tuesday. The man said he'd recently purchased the gun.

Arrested: Isaac LeMasters, 50, Salineville, failure to comply, Tuesday.

Toronto police

Arrested: Marina Walter, 19, 425 North 5th St., Apt. 307, Toronto, possession of drugs, Tuesday.

Arrested: Patrick Laizure, 21, 908 Logan Ave., Toronto, possession of hypodermics, Tuesday. Laizure was also cited for expired registration.
