Out of sight: A county resident said his wife's Dodge Charger is missing, Monday. He told deputies he's not sure if it was repossessed, since his wife has been in jail in another county for several months, but he did notice tracks where it had been pulled out. The finance company was slow to tell deputies if they'd taken the vehicle back so deputies entered it into the national database as stolen, pending further information.
Just wrong: A Dillonvale man said someone changed his PIN number while he was in the hospital and drained his account of nearly $1,500, Monday. He said the thief made several purchases using his money, the last being a $20 purchase at a Tiltonsville gas station.

Hot mess: Officers responded to a Sunset Boulevard location after callers reported a woman had been "assaulted and pushed out of a vehicle," Tuesday. When they got there police said the woman was sitting on the floor inside a business, crying. They said she told them she'd been to a bar with a female she refused to identify because she isn't a "snitch," and they noted her eyes were bloodshot and glassy and she reeked of alcohol. She couldn't tell them where she'd been dropped off, but said she remembered being in a fight at a Steubenville residence and that she'd punched a man, and also claimed she'd been at a bar called "The Mirage" but couldn't tell them where it was. Police said she was inconsistent in telling them what had happened, so they advised her to contact detectives if she finds out anything about the other female who was involved. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Branched out: The owner of a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of Parkview Circle told police a large tree branch had fallen onto his car, damaging his windshield, Tuesday.
Blame games: A Pennsylvania Avenue resident claimed her children were being harassed by a neighbor who yells at them from her apartment window when they're riding their bikes or playing on the sidewalk, Tuesday. She said that day she'd told the kids she hoped they got hit by a car. The neighbor denied saying anything to the children, though she did complain that they play on her property and enter the lobby area. Police told her the sidewalk is a public walkway and children are allowed to ride their bikes on it, and told the children's mother her kids need to stay off the woman's property and out of her building.
Chased: A motorist led police on a chase through town early Wednesday morning that ended with the driver on foot behind the 3800 block of Bristol Avenue. Bryan Nicosia, 39, 405 Prospect St., Brilliant, was charged with failure to comply with police, police said. Jefferson County sheriff's deputies, troopers with Ohio State Highway Patrol and Wintersville police joined the pursuit, they said.
Kid's stuff: Someone stole a kid's bicycle off a porch in the 400 block of South Sixth Street, Tuesday. The homeowner said it was a blue Huffy BMX bike. He said he'd seen two men walking around his car earlier and told them to leave. The bike was valued at $200, he said.
