Charged: Margaret Ferrari, 57, Weirton, destruction of property and obstructing an officer, Sunday.

Steubenville Police

Cheating hearts: A Union Avenue resident said her boyfriend cheated on her and when she confronted him, he ordered her to leave their home, Thursday. She said he wasn't physically violent, but claimed he threatened to kill her with a gun if she didn't leave. She wasn't interested in pursuing charges but said she "was just made he cheated and tried to kick her out." The male said they'd argued when she found out he'd cheated on her, but insisted he doesn't own a gun and tried to kick her out. His girlfriend stayed at another location for the night.

No rest: A homeless man was told to leave two properties, Wednesday. The first property was a business, and after advising him he wasn't permitted there police gave him a ride downtown. Hours later, callers complained he was sleeping in the lobby of a building in the 100 block of North Fourth St. He had left the building, but police located and told him he wasn't welcome there, either.

Knife fight: Police were dispatched to the 300 block of South Sixth Street for "a female with a knife, possibly chasing a male," Wednesday. They located a woman who admitted she was arguing with her boyfriend but denied having a knife. They couldn't find the man she was fighting with.

Relationship complications: Residents were causing a disturbance in the 400 block of North Sixth Street, Wednesday. A male told them he'd been arguing with his female companion, and she confirmed it. Both said they didn't need any help.

Stolen medication: An individual living in the 100 block of Brady Circle East told police someone swiped two of her prescriptions from her bathroom cabinet, Wednesday. The individual said 13 Xanax pills and 10 Lunesta pills were missing.

Cited: Christopher L. Winters, 39, 13 Fourth St., Beech Bottom, no operator's license and assured clear distance ahead after police allege his vehicle rear-ended a car stopped in the 400 block of Lovers Lane northbound.

Cited: Chessy N. Mills, 36, 47 Spruce Lane, Mingo Junction, red light violation; and Martina E. Cuevas, 40, 1230 Wellesley Ave., Steubenville, and Kenneth R. Muze, 31, 219 Carson St., Hopedale, both for driving while suspended and speeding.

Jefferson County Sheriff

Booked: Yasmine Lanay Wagner, 235 township Road 260, Richmond, warrant for domestic violence and endangering children, Wednesday. Wagner was located by police in Carroll County and transported to the county line, where deputies served the warrants.
