Drove him buggy: A Mingo Junction man wanted deputies' help getting his ex-wife out of his home, Saturday. He said he'd let her stay at his place while her apartment is being treated for bed bugs and had only been there a day "but she is causing too many issues and she is no longer welcome." Deputies said while they spoke with him they could hear her screaming in the background about her medication. His ex accused the man of taking her medication and demanded it back, but he told them he didn't have it. Deputies convinced her to grab what she needed for the night and leave.
Lost night: Deputies were able to locate a man who got "lost in the woods and is highly intoxicated," Friday. They said he was found "at his camping location" and then transported to Trinity Medical Center West for treatment, but deputies were notified later he was "ejected ... for making threats" and was later taken into custody by Wintersville Police for breaking into the Taco Bell lobby. Tony Lee Oaks, 44, 56 Talbott Drive, Wintersville, was booked into jail by Wintersville police on charges of criminal trespass and public intoxication, deputies said.
Trashed: Deputies are investigating a burglary at an Irondale property, Sunday. They said the home had been trashed and at first glance nothing of value was reported missing though deputies said cupboards and a refrigerator that had been full of food are now empty.
Didn't ask: A Steubenville woman told deputies her granddaughter grabbed her car keys and drove away in her car, Sunday. Deputies said the granddaughter told them she was using the car to move her things out of the house she'd shared with her estranged husband and would have it back within two hours.
