Pushed to the limit: A man whose wife was jailed for domestic violence said she was released from jail after her charge was knocked down to disorderly conduct and wanted to argue, Friday. There was no protection order issued so police couldn’t make her leave and told the two to steer clear of each other until things calmed down. She wanted to know how she could get her son’s girlfriend evicted from the residence. Nearly four hours later police were called back to the residence by her husband, who police said “seemed to be very distraught” and wanted them to get her away from him. Police said when they told the woman they were going to seek a temporary protection order and she wouldn’t be allowed to return to the residence until she spoke with the judge, she claimed her husband threatened to kill her and her son pushed her out the door. She wanted to pursue charges.

The man told them he’d been drinking that day “because of relationship issues: and when he got to his ex’s apartment, he said “she was being mean,” so they started arguing.
