Bad reaction: A woman driving her ex-boyfriend home after their breakup said he tried to jump out of her car several times, Wednesday. She said she eventually dropped him off at Yorkville and he started walking.

Hanging on: A Toronto man said his now ex-girlfriend was refusing to let him get his things, including his motorcycle, Thursday. He said he’d been trying to get the items for three days. She told deputies he could have his things once he “gave her money.” The man wanted to force his way into the building but deputies told him that was a bad idea and they’d need to resolve their differences in court.

Covering their tracks: A woman in Richmond said someone emptied her pool and deleted her security footage, Oct. 3. A family member admitted responsibility.

Immature: A Mingo Junction woman said she’d argued with her son over his choice of friends and he went outside “and is throwing things at her house,” Thursday. She told deputies she wanted him to leave the property for the night.

Bad habits: An Irondale woman said her husband left home and hadn’t returned, Friday. She said he does it frequently and “is usually located in a yard, passed out from drug use.” Deputies were unable to find him, but she called about three hours later to report he’d come home and was OK.

Ringer: A Ridge Avenue woman told police her husband pushed her and hit her with a shoe when she tried to make him put his wedding ring back on his finger after he removed it during an argument, Friday. Police said they did see some redness on her chest, but she said he went to work and she didn’t want to pursue charges. Her husband admitted they’d argued but denied hitting her with a shoe.

Ongoing problems: A homeless woman was causing a disturbance at Urban Thrift, refusing to leave the property, Friday. Police said she was seated on a couch near the loading docks with her belongings “spread throughout the area.” Bystanders said she was “yelling profanities and creating a disturbance” and when they asked her to leave she refused. Police told her she was no longer welcome on any Urban Mission property. On Saturday they found her on the porch of a building in the 400 block of North Fifth Street, “rummaging through items that did not belong to her. Police said she “started talking about things that did not make sense” but refused medical attention, though she wanted police “to gather her belongs from multiple residences.” They told her no. She was advised to stay away from that property. On Sunday, a man who was arguing with her on North Street at Sixth Street flagged them down, alleging she’d threatened to shoot him with a gun. The female denied threatening anyone and claimed he was bothering her. Police said the male left the area and the woman “was advised to stop threatening people and to stay out of the roadway.”

Tent-iquette: A man was throwing rocks at a tent in the 100 block of North Sixth Street, Saturday. When police talked to him, they said he denied throwing rocks but admitted he saw someone rummaging through his neighbor’s tent “so he exited his tent to stop him.” He said the two of them argued but eventually the other man left. The owner of the second tent wasn’t there at the time.

Flashed gun: A Sherman Avenue resident said he was threatened by a man with a gun, Friday. He said his son had told him the man with the gun was arguing with the Sherman Avenue resident’s girlfriend and when he walked up to them he saw the man “pull a silver handgun from his waistband (and) pointed it at him and advised him to back up.” He wanted his girlfriend to talk to police but she’d already left the scene.

Followed: A city resident said a man in a silver Cadillac seemed to be following her, Friday. She said she noticed the man when she was at Hollywood Plaza and when she got to the light “he jumped out of his vehicle and started taking pictures.” She said he continued to follow her, and when she stopped, he jumped out and took more pictures, “making her uncomfortable.”

Opportunistic: Thieves wasted no time stealing roofing materials dropped off at a jobsite on Oxford Avenue, Friday. An employee said the materials were delivered shortly after 8 a.m. and when her boss arrived less than 30 minutes later, all of it had been stolen. Roofing metal, shingles, ice and water shield and waterproofing concrete valued at nearly $487 were stolen.

Fraud alleged: A man who’d rented a room in the 1400 block of Oregon Avenue told police the homeowner “scammed him out of (his money),” Saturday. Police said he wanted the homeowner to refund $350 of the $500 he’d paid him to rent the room for himself, his wife and child, but they told him it would have to be resolved in court.

Issues: A man asked police to help him get his belongings from a Grandview Avenue residence because he was ordered by a judge to stay away from the property, Friday. Police talked to his ex, who said she was going to gather his things and have him meet a relative over the weekend to get them.

Incompatible: A Maryland Avenue resident said one of his neighbor’s kids rode a scooter too close to his car and the handlebars scratched his fender, Friday. He said when he tried to talk to the juvenile and the juvenile’s mom, both of them “began yelling profanities at him.”

Rocky road: Lincoln Avenue residents reported two large holes in her living room window, Saturday. She said she was sleeping on her sofa when she heard the first rock hit and when she ran to the window “was able to identify the suspect.” She wasn’t sure if she wanted to pursue charges.

Dogs checked: Someone reported dogs left in an abandoned residence in the 1300 block of Belleview Boulevard, Friday. Police peered through the window and reported seeing at least two dogs inside, but noted that while it appeared run down some of the windows were partially open and the front door appeared to have a newer lock on it. They also said the dogs did not appear to be in distress.

Booked: Michael Popp, 46, 465 Lincoln Blvd., Steubenville, possession of drugs and probation violation, Saturday. Police said they were searching Popp after taking him into custody on the warrant when they allegedly found “a small amount” of a substance believed to be methamphetamine concealed inside a cigarette pack in his hoodie pocket.

Booked: Glenn C. Thompson, 61, 145 Williams St., Steubenville, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, Friday. Police allegedly found a small bag of crack and a glass pipe in an old pill bottle during a traffic stop on Adams Street.

Booked: Rebecca P. Kenefick, 33, 901 Banks St., Apt. 12, Toronto, parole violation (Muncipal Court), Friday; Tonya L. Morgan, 42, 465 Lincoln Blvd., Steubenville, probation violation, Saturday.
