Wasted: A caller reported a woman being held at a Richmond residence at gunpoint, Wednesday. Deputies said the woman admitted being drunk and told them she’d been arguing with her brother and his girlfriend because they refused to take her to buy cigarettes and refused to get her money, which is deposited in the girlfriend’s account because she doesn’t have one of her own. Her brother and his girlfriend said they told her they would get her money but couldn’t do it right then, leading to more arguing. The sister said as the couple left, they said they were going to call the police. Her brother’s girlfriend said one of the men “reached toward his waistband like he had a gun” so they left, but the drunk sister “kept texting her to come get her” and she became concerned the woman was being held at gunpoint. Once assured all at the Richmond house were fine, the couple said they would get the drunk woman’s money for her.
Deer hunters: Two brothers said they saw two men “baiting deer” at Friendship Park, Wednesday. They said when they asked them if they had permission to do it the two “became irate” and one of them took his shirt off and approached them until he realized one of the brothers had a gun on his hip.

Wrestling match: A South Bend Boulevard resident told police a female showed up at her property and screaming at her, Wednesday. She said she had video of the woman running around her car earlier in the morning, then showing up on her doorstep a few minutes later and when she opened the door to the screaming woman they ended up “in a shoving and wrestling match” in the front yard until her boyfriend came outside and separated them. She said after the woman fled the scene in her white SUV, she discovered the damage done to her vehicle.
Knock down: Two sisters walking through the Taco Bell parking lot were struck by a car backing out of a parking space, Wednesday. Police said the women, both senior citizens, said the impact “knocked them backward to the ground.” One of the women complained her head, neck arm and knee were hurting and the other advised her head, leg and hip had been injured. They were taken to Trinity Medical Center West for treatment. The driver told police he was backing up and didn’t see the women.
Punched: A North Fourth Street resident said he was walking his dog when a man he’s had trouble with previously walked up and hit him in the face, Wednesday. Police said the man’s glasses were broken and he “denied having any role in the altercation.” A lens was missing from his glasses and his ear was red, police said. He wants to pursue charges.
Down fall: A man walking on Barclay Avenue told police he fell in the street and couldn’t get up, Wednesday. Steubenville firefighters took him to the hospital, police said. The man admitted he’d “had a few drinks but was not visibly intoxicated,” they said.

Recurring complaint: A city resident complained of “disruptive behavior” from a neighboring residence, Wednesday. The complainant reported ongoing issues with the neighbors and complained of parties, loud music and people smoking marijuana on the back porch, but police told the complainant they were on private property and “no legal police action could be taken from them smoking what he alleged was marijuana.” They told the caller they could speak with the neighbor about the noise but said he changed his mind. Police said while they were there they “observed no disruptive behavior from the residence (the complainant) alleged loud music had been coming from all evening.”
