Spreading joy: A Dillonvale resident was upset his water was shut off due to billing issues, Wednesday. Employees said the man was two months behind on his bill so an order of termination was posted. They said they’d tried several times “to work with him” to bring his bill current but on that day he “became irate and began shouting in her face, causing him to spit on her due to (his) proximity.” She said he told her he was “coming for her job” and was “going to come at her” and she wasn’t sure what he meant though it made her uncomfortable. She told deputies she didn’t want to pursue charges but at the same time doesn’t want him to return. They said the male answered the door with his phone in hand, recording their interaction.” He told deputies “there was no incident” and he is allowed to be in a public building so deputies can’t arrest him for being there. Deputies said they tried to explain they were “just there to let him know (the clerk) doesn’t want issues at work” but he “talked over what they were saying.” They said they also tried to give him contact information for agencies that could help but he “continued to talk over them “and asked (the female deputy) inappropriate questions.” Deputies told him if he does it again or causes issues at the water department he would be arrested.
