Jefferson County Sheriff

Fallen rider: A deputy responding to a report of a man lying beside a bicycle near Public Road in Yorkville Sunday night said the man told him he’d had an accident and flipped over his handlebars but was all right.

Green-eyed monster: A man at a Yorkville bar on Sunday allegedly saw his girlfriend seated by another man and began throwing stools. He was said to have pushed the woman when she attempted to escort him out and after being locked out of the building, allegedly kicked the door multiple times. Police said the woman and the bar’s owner didn’t want to pursue charges, and the owners said they would talk to the man about repairs to the door.

Summoned: Raymond Sutton, 65, 1143 Lincoln Ave., driving under the influence, Sunday, after striking a fence on the street. Police said Sutton told them his accelerator had become stuck. They reported his breath smelled of alcohol and he failed a field sobriety test.

Cited for speeding: Stanley S. Sarap, 51,123 Etta Lane, Colliers; Jennifer Lesneski-Fisher, 42, 2739 Lafayette Blvd.; and Thomas J. Byrans, 22, Lakewood, Colo.

One-sided conversation: Police responding to a report on Friday night of a woman yelling found a woman on a porch on Ravine Street who appeared to be intoxicated and arguing with herself.

Odd behavior: A man said to be screaming on North Fifth Street Saturday night told police he was relieving some frustration. Police sent him on his way.

Vandalism: Police received a report of multiple areas of a Rosswell Avenue residence being spray painted Saturday night.

Road rage: A driver said when she pulled into a parking lot, another driver pulled in behind her and yelled obscenities, accusing her of cutting him off.

Theft: A woman said a man approached her on Sunset Boulevard Sunday morning and demanded her cell phone and credit card from her. While ambulance staff treated her for shortness of breath, the credit card was found on the ground and returned to her.

Vehicle vandalism: A tire of a parked vehicle on Arlington Avenue was punctured by a set of screws Monday.

Strange confrontation: A juvenile said she was walking along South Sixth Street Monday evening when a silver sport utility vehicle pulled up, its driver waved at her and told her to get in. The girl walked away and told a parent about it.
