Bad break: A caller told police a disagreement between two women at the Subway shop in Wal-Mart had the potential to escalate, Tuesday. The dispute stemmed from one of the women jostled a chair occupied by another woman who was on her break from work. The woman whose chair was bumped said she told a friend who was with here that “she could’ve said excuse me” and then the other party “got up and yelled at her for talking about her.” She said she also stood up and they argued, but it never escalated to actual violence. The other woman said she’d accidentally bumped the employee’s chair and then “could hear (the employee) talking about her, so she rose to her feet and asked her why she was saying those things.” She said the woman “got out of her seat and began to argue with her,” screaming at her and taking off her work vest. She confirmed the disagreement never became physical, so police told the two they needed to stay away from each other.
Lucky call: A home health aide became alarmed when she couldn’t make contact with a client in the 700 block of Market Street, Tuesday. She told police she’d tried calling several times and could hear it ringing but he never answered or came to his door. Police said maintenance let them in the apartment and they found the individual “underneath his bed, apparently suffering a seizure.” He was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Lurking: A bystander flagged police down in the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue to report seeing someone in a fire-damaged property in the 500 block of Ohio Street, Tuesday. The individual said he’d contacted the owner of the property who didn’t know the man. Police checked the property, but no one was inside.
False alarm: A caller asked police to check on an animal at a property in the 500 block of Union Avenue, Tuesday. Police said the person people are calling about was the former tenant, who moved out about three weeks ago. The current occupant’s animal was fine, police said.
Damaged: A Sunset Boulevard property owner reported damage to a fence around her property, Tuesday. She said there’s an empty field next to her property and someone had been weed-whacking overgrown brush on it and said she discovered the damage after he left.

Donkey Kong: A woman reported seeing two donkeys in the road near county Road 7, Tuesday. She told deputies she thought they belonged to a neighbor that she doesn’t speak to. Deputies located the animals, which they described as mini-horses, and the owner retrieved them.
Concerned: A caller at the New Alexandria cemetery reported hearing people yelling and believed a fight was in progress on state Route 151, Tuesday. Someone outside the fire department said he and other volunteers who were in the area didn’t witness a disturbance but had seen juveniles in the area earlier playing and riding dirt bikes.
