Hang on: A Richmond couple was advised to separate for the night after a 9-1-1 hang-up call, Wednesday. Police said when they located the caller, she told them she and her boyfriend had been arguing and he started pulling on her purse and throwing things in the vehicle, so she pulled over and he jumped out and got in with the driver behind her. He said after he got out of her car, she cracked her window and told him to get in the backseat, but when he tried to get in, she drove off, “causing him to fall and scrape his rear area.” Neither of them wanted to pursue charges.

Bad look: A city resident said his ex-wife showed up unannounced and was knocking at his door, Monday. He said she lives out west and wanted to see their children, but he has full custody, and she is not to see them. Police said she was gone before they arrived. She later contacted police, telling them she had visitation rights but her ex “has since changed telephone numbers and will not provide a new number to prevent her from contacting (them).” She said she went to the residence to drop off a gift for them and he “answered the door, yelled obscenities at her and shut the door.”
Owners cited, warned: A white Ford F-150 parked on the street in the 3300 block of Portland Boulevard with flat tires and expired plates was ticketed and towed; three vehicles parked in front yards in the Cunningham and Westwood Drive neighborhoods were issued warning tickets.
