Story time: A Yorkville woman told deputies she confronted her boyfriend about talking to another woman and “he got mad and hit her with a pillow” May 10. She said she had to tell him to “stop throwing (things) at her” so he “got mad and punched her and started throwing more stuff at her.” She had a mark on her forehead she thought was caused by a coffee cup. The man said he was working on his bike when a woman walked by and waved so he waved back. His girlfriend saw it and they went inside and argued. He said he pushed her and threw something at her but she “shook up a can of pop, opened it and threw it at him.” Deputies were preparing to arrest him for domestic violence when the female said she’d lied about him throwing things at her.
Fed up: A Richmond homeowner told police May 11 she wanted family members living with her for the past year to move out. She said her grandson had called her “a derogatory name” and when she tried to go in her daughter-in-law’s room she “closed the door on her and hit her leg.” She told deputies she’d told them she wanted them to move out but they hadn’t, and deputies told her it has to be in writing. Deputies said she’d had a similar complaint before and been advised of the process for obtaining an eviction notice through the courts. The grandson was advised he needs to treat her more respectfully.
