SouthernCare Hospice held an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday at its new location at 100 Welday Ave., Suite G, Wintersville. Located in the former Comcast Customer Service Center, SouthernCare serves residents of Jefferson County and is part of the Kindred at Home family of home health, palliative and hospice care providers. Its goal, officials explained, is to enrich the quality of life as life’s journey nears its completion.
