JOINS TEAM: James Woodward has been named the new research analyst for Ohio Southeast Development.
The Athens native replaces Chelsie Wollett in that position.
Woodward earned his master of public policy and a Ph.D. in public policy from the University of Kentucky. He worked for the commonwealth’s Hazard Mitigation Grant program and performed policy-related research for the Commonwealth Council on Developmental Disabilities.
He has served as an economic eesearch analyst with the Economic Research Center at the Buckeye Institute where he collected economic data, performed research, and wrote about economic policy issues.
“OhioSE is well-positioned to understand and advance the economic interests of the regional economy,” said Woodward. “As someone born and raised in the area, I am excited to return to the region to support OhioSE’s efforts to increase economic opportunities for the people who live and work here. I know this region has a lot to offer and look forward to sharing my research with the OhioSE team and area partners.”

NAMED TO POST: Jake Huey has been named as revolving loan fund administrator of the Ohio Mid-Eastern Governement Association.
Huey, a resident of Coshocton, began his tenure with OMEGA in December. An alumnus of the University of Wyoming, he earned a B.S. in business administration and an MBA from Murray State University. He replaces the retired Lolly Ravak.
He has worked as a junior project manager in the oil and gas industry, where he specialized in construction-related building compressor stations, pipelines and additional facilities operations. Huey also worked as an operations supervisor at Kraft-Heinz in Coshocton and Kaiser Aluminum in Newark.
