Doug Comm, president/CEO of Hancock County Savings Bank, presented George Ash, representing the Weirton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2716, with a $1,000 donation to help with the upkeep and beautification of the Brooke-Hancock County Veterans War Memorial Park. Located at the west end of Weirton near the Veterans Memorial Bridge, the park honors veterans of all wars and visitors are welcome anytime. “Hancock County Savings Bank is proud of all area veterans and we’re happy to be able to help continue supporting the legacy of their service to our country.
