Roberts, Wojcik join Unified

MARTINS FERRY — Mortgage lenders John T. Roberts II and Logan Wojcik have accepted positions with Unified Bank, officials have announced.
Roberts, the former owner of Capital Mortgage Firm Inc. in St. Clairsville, will serve as Unified’s mortgage banking executive, and his associate, Wojcik, will be a mortgage loan originator. They bring nearly 30 years of combined experience in the lending industry.

John will utilize his 20-plus year experience of successfully leading a mortgage company to bring a fresh and proactive approach to our mortgage lending function, while Logan looks forward to sharing his extensive knowledge and superb service skills with our present and future customers,” said Scott Everson, president, chairman and CEO of Unified Bank.

Roberts is a graduate of Ohio University. He, his wife and two sons live in Belmont. He has been working in the banking and financial industry since 1995. His work has encompassed the Mid-Atlantic, East-Central and Midwest United States. For 20 years, he owned and operated Capital Mortgage.

Wojcik is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He worked for two years at Capital Mortgage with Roberts as a loan originator. With strong family ties to the Wheeling community and the Ohio Valley, Wojcik said he is excited to combine his passion for sales and service with Unified’s mortgage lending program and looks forward to representing Unified throughout the markets it serves.
He and his wife live in the St. Clairsville area with their 15-month-old son.
