CHARLESTON — The West Virginia Funeral Directors and Crematory Operators Association has elected John C. Greco of Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home as the new president of the association. The election took place during the 130th-annual convention held at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling.
Greco was installed as president by Chris Christian, CFSP, CCO, secretary of the National Funeral Director Association board of directors. Greco becomes the first individual from Weirton and Hancock County to hold this position.

“I am honored to serve as president of the West Virginia Funeral Directors and Crematory Operators Association,” said Greco. “My goal is to support our members and ensure they have the resources and guidance needed to provide exceptional service to their communities. I invite all members to get involved and make a difference.”
Greco also expressed his enthusiasm for working closely with Melissa A. Cyfers in her role as the executive director of the association.
