APPOINTED: Carlo Agresta, an Ohio and West Virginia Realtor and salesperson with Cedar One Realty, has been appointed to the board of directors of the East Central Association of Realtors.

NAMED CHAIR: Dr. Chirag Shah has been appointed chair of the Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute’s Department of Radiation Oncology. He comes to Pittsburgh from Cleveland Clinic and brings extensive experience and a distinguished career in radiation oncology to the role.

Shah’s expertise spans a wide range of radiation oncology techniques and technologies, with a particular focus on breast cancer, sarcoma and lymphedema prevention.

Before joining AHN, he served as the director of clinical research, director of breast radiation oncology and director of strategic growth in radiation oncology at the Cleveland Clinic. He also served as co-director of the comprehensive breast program at the Cleveland Clinic. He has more than 200 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has delivered dozens of presentations at national and international conferences.

He was named to Cleveland Magazine’s Best Doctors list in 2023 and 2024 and received the Presidential Award from the American Brachytherapy Society in 2023.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Shah to AHN Cancer Institute,” said Dr. David L. Bartlett, chair of the AHN Cancer Institute. “His exceptional clinical skills, research acumen and leadership qualities make him an ideal candidate to lead our radiation oncology department, which supports the rest of the cancer subspecialties within our institute.”

Shah received his bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. He completed his internship and residency at William Beaumont Hospital and held positions at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and Summa Health Systems in Akron. He is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, where he chairs the national workforce committee, and the American Brachytherapy Society.

“I am honored and excited to join the AHN Cancer Institute team,” said Shah. “I look forward to collaborating with the outstanding physicians, researchers, and staff to further enhance the delivery of comprehensive, patient-centered radiation oncology services.”

EARNS LICENSES: Cameron Lamatrice, a real estate agent at Cedar One Realty, has became licensed in Ohio and West Virginia.

Lamatrice attended Indian Creek High School. After graduating, he went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in communications from Franciscan University of Steubenville. In 2020, he decided to pursue a career in real estate, obtaining his sales license from Hondros College online at the beginning of 2021.

Lamatrice has been a Wintersville resident his entire life, giving him a base knowledge of the Ohio Valley. His background in communications will allow him to smoothly address and resolve any issues clients might have, he said, adding he is happy to be part of Cedar One’s team.
