At the July outing, the club donated school supplies for military families, personal care items and $300 for postage to help send the care packages.

Also this summer, five members attended the OFWC Southeast District informational evening held Aug. 13 at Scaffidi's Restaurant in Steubenville. On hand were Gartland and GFWC/OFWC President Linda Crish. The meeting was led by Pat Ketzell, Southeast District president.
