The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club has announced April competition winners to the theme “Patterns and Textures.” The theme category winners were: First place, Anissa Wellington; second, Andy Tindor; and third, Dave Rees. The open category winners were: First place, John Hanish; second, Karen Felix; and third, Andy Tindor. The special effects category winners were: First place, Barb Momyer; second, Andy Tindor; and third, Lisa Carte. From left are, Hanish, Carte, Tindor, Momyer, Wellington and Rees. The club will not hold its meeting on May 6 but instead take a walk around downtown Steubenville at the First Friday on the Fourth event set for May 3. The focus will be on city scenes and architecture. The next regular meeting will be held May 20 at Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, 1085 Canton Road, Wintersville, beginning at 7 p.m. The club welcomes anyone who has an interest in photography to its meetings held at the church.
