The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club has announced winners of the May competition, which centered around the theme "Descent/Assent." The theme category winners were: First place, Mike Bongart; second, tie between Lisa Carte and John Hanish; and third, Anissa Wellington. Open category winners were: First place, Andy Tindor; second, Anissa Wellington; and third, Tami Hosterman. The special effects category winners were: First place, Anissa Wellington; second, Karen Felix; and third, Andy Tindor. The club's next meeting at Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, 1085 Canton Road, Wintersville, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. It will be a workshop night with discussion centering on the attributes of Canon vs. Nikon. The theme category for June is "Bridges."
