The Franciscan University of Steubenville's Women's Scholarship Guild will hold its "Spring Into Spring"' fundraising event on May 14, beginning at 5:30 p.m. on the campus of Franciscan University of Steubenville in the Tony and Nina Gentile Gallery, J.C. Williams Center. Proceeds will benefit the Rose M. DeFede Scholarship fund, which is awarded to women 22 years and older who wish to complete their college degree. Entertainment will be provided by members of the Ohio Valley Youth Network. There will be various prizes awarded, including a power air fryer/rotisserie; Cleveland Browns golf bag; fire pit; Echo Dot; gift baskets; and gift certificates. Light refreshments will be served. Admission is $7. Tickets are available for a cash drawing with a grand prize of $500.
