Morning Star Baptist Church
WEIRTON -- The Morning Star Baptist Church, 3124 Weir Ave., will host a Vacation Bible School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 12-14.

Starkdale Presbyterian Church
STEUBENVILLE -- Starkdale Presbyterian Church, 4600 Sunset Blvd., will hold Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m. to noon on June 10-14 to the theme "Miraculous Mission."
It will be for children ages 4 through sixth grade.
"We will be transforming our church into the wonder of God's creation -- night skies, planets, stars, sun, moon and rockets, too," a spokesperson explained. "We will learn together about God's amazing love and his creation through Bible study, crafts, music and games."
There will be a daily snack time at 10:30 a.m. Mission donations will go to the Heifer Project, "helping people around the world to nourish and feed their families with animals purchased by our gifts."
The closing program will be held at 11:30 a.m. on June 14 with families invited to attend. An ice cream social will follow.

St. Joseph the Worker
WEIRTON -- Children are invited to "Roar Vacation Bible School: Life is Wild, God is Good" from July 15-18 at St. Joseph the Worker Grade School and Madonna High School.
It is open to children in pre-kindergarten through grade six and will run daily from 9 a.m. to noon. For information, call (304) 723-2054.
A spokesperson explained children "will discover that God is good even when life gets wild." The VBS will include Bible-learning activities, music, teamwork-building games, make-and-devour treats, "wild Bible adventures," Bible memory buddies and "sciency-fun gizmos" to take home and play with all summer.
Children will learn "to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God sightings." Each day concludes with "the safari celebration," with family members and friends encouraged to participate.
Children attending Roar VBS also will participate in the Connecting Kids to Justice outreach project to help provide safe and drinkable water for those in need.
Colliers Way Church of Christ
WEIRTON -- "Creation Station" is the theme of Vacation Bible School at Colliers Way Church of Christ, located at 612 Colliers Way.
There will be lessons, crafts and snacks for classes of participants ages 2-12. They will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 17-21.
There also will be an adult class offering "a deeper look at creation and how God uses it for communication and provision."
