Candids from Follansbee Community Days parade
Photos on today’s community page constitute some candids taken Saturday by reporter Mark Law at the parade that was part of Follansbee’s 26th-annual Community Days celebration held over a three-day period.
The parade started with the firing of West Virginia Mountaineer Timmy Eads’ musket and was followed by the Brooke High School band performing the national anthem.
There were numerous units marching down Main Street before hundreds of spectators on a beautiful sunny July day.
The Friday-through-Sunday festivities included live entertainment, food, vendors, a classic car show and the grand finale — fireworks.
