The Community Bread Basket will be conducting a quarter auction fundraiser on Aug. 18 at the Masonic Hall Annex on Knights Road in Weirton. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. with the auction beginning at 1:30 p.m. There will be a variety of auction items in addition to a Chinese auction. Those who bring a nonperishable food item as a donation will be given an extra ticket for the Chinese auction items. Holding some of the Chinese auction items are, from left, Jim Pauchnik, CBB board member; Tara Sheperd, CBB program administrator; and Pat Cotherman, fundraiser chairperson.
