Baked steak fundraiser dinner
set for Saturday in Unionport
UNIONPORT — A baked steak fundraiser dinner will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Wayne Township Community Center in Unionport.
The dinner will include baked steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, noodles, green beans, salad, drinks and pie. The cost is $10. Proceeds benefit the upkeep of the center.

Museum having open house
STEUBENVILLE — The Pleasant Hill School House Historical Museum, located on state Route 213, Steubenville, will hold an open house from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Country Friends announces
entertainment for weekend
COLLIERS — Country Friends will host the Buffington Brothers on Friday and the Neon Knights on Saturday at the Memorial Hall located at 67 Police Lodge Road, Colliers.
The doors open at 6 p.m., the dance starts at 7 p.m., and the hall closes at 10 p.m. for both events. There is a $5 cover charge per person on dance nights.
Open mic is Monday. The doors open at 4 p.m., the covered-dish meal is served at 5 p.m., and open mic begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge on Mondays, but donations are appreciated.
Country Friends Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Christian friendship and brotherly love through music. All proceeds go to charity.

EGCC community yard
sale set for Saturday
STEUBENVILLE — Eastern Gateway Community College’s annual community yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The rain date is Sept. 21.
Set-up for the yard sale will not begin until the day of the event at 6 a.m. The parking lot will be closed the evening before and will not be open for set-up. Registrants are asked to not arrive earlier than 15 minutes prior to the set-up time.

WEIRTON — The Weir High School Class of 1964 held its 55-year reunion on Aug. 24.
The gathering was co-chaired by Millie Bragg Nale, Diane Hebb and Rhonda Hill Long.

Women on Target clinic
scheduled for Oct. 5
CHESTER — The Chester-Newell Sportsmen Club will be the site of the Women on Target clinic on Oct. 5, beginning at 8:30 a.m. with registration.
Classroom instruction begins at 9, and lunch is provided. Pre-registration is required for the class, which costs $35. The deadline to register is Sept. 30. The clinic is held rain or shine.
