Robert Morris University

Chelsey Fletcher, daughter of Ralph and Rebecca Fletcher of Weirton, recently received her doctorate degree in instructional management and leadership from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. Fletcher is the athletic director and a teacher at the Toronto City School District, where she resides with her son, Donaven.

Fletcher received her dual master’s degrees from West Virginia University in secondary education and is certified to instruct social studies and reading. She earned dual bachelor degrees from Muskingum University in business and psychology.

Kent State University

Amanda Souther of Steubenville, Antoinette Basinger of Toronto and Avery Wilson of Carrollton were named to the summer dean’s list at Kent State University.

The following area students participated in summer commencement at the university:

Avery Wilson, Deven Hezoucky and Courtney Myers, Carrollton; Audrianna Modon, Cadiz; Eliza Kelley, Steubenville; Hunter Johnson, Rayland; and Skyler Dye, Bloomingdale.
