Weirton Woman's Club plans
fundraiser style show Nov. 10
WEIRTON -- The GFWC Weirton Woman's Club is sponsoring its "Fashion to the Maxx -- Part 2" style show featuring fashions by T.J. Maxx of Steubenville.
The fundraiser will be held Nov. 10 at Undo's in the Weirton Holiday Inn. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. with the luncheon served at 1:30 p.m. and show time beginning at 2:30 p.m.
The event will include a Chinese auction, a 50/50 drawing and door prizes. The cost is $30 per person. Advance tickets can be purchased by contacting Delores Azzarello at (304) 723-0954 or Jeanne Amidon at (304) 914-7117. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
The fundraiser enables the club to contribute to numerous community projects and offer scholarships to local students.
WXS Management Club
scheduled to meet Monday
WEIRTON -- The Weirton Steel Management Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at Giovanni's Family Restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue, Weirton.
All members, former members and guests are invited to attend the dinner and social time.
Ohio Valley Civil War
Roundtable meets Monday
WHEELING -- Gerry Reilly will be the guest speaker at the Ohio Valley Civil War Roundtable's next meeting, which will be held Monday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Ohio County Public Library, Wheeling.
Reilly is the assistant director of museums at Oglebay Institute. He earned his master's degree in history and museum studies from Case Western Reserve University. His topic will be Wheeling's Confederate Unit, the Shriver Grays.

Children: Play and Learn the Alphabet, for parents with children ages 2-6, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday. Children will play with letter-learning toys that help with early literacy skills.

Adults: Get tech help on how to download materials from the library's website to an electronic device. Tech help is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday. Call for a 15-minute appointment.
Book club will meet for discussion on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The club is discussing the book, "The Last Time I Lied" by Riley Sager. Call to join.
Children: Tot Time for children ages 2-4 will be at the Schiappa Branch on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., Oct. 29 and Nov. 5, 12 and 19; Wednesdays at 6 p.m., Oct. 30 and Nov. 6, 13 and 20; and Thursdays at 11 a.m. on Oct. 31 and Nov. 7, 14 and 21.
On Tuesday through Thursday, children at Tot Time can dress in costume. There is no registration.

Quarter auction on Nov. 3
benefits Community Days
FOLLANSBEE -- The Follansbee Community Days Committee will conduct a quarter auction fundraiser on Nov. 3 at the Follansbee Community House.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m., and the auction starts at 1 p.m., continuing until 4 p.m. The $5 entry fee includes one paddle. Additional paddles will be available for $1.
There will be a large array of crafts, candles and other items up for bid. There also will be a Chinese auction with six tickets available for $5.

Hancock Humane Foundation
to hold spay and neuter clinic
NEW CUMBERLAND -- The Hancock County Humane Foundation will hold a low-cost cat spay and neuter clinic on Nov. 9.
