An international movement founded in 1971 by Marie-Helene Mathieu and Jean Vanier, Faith and Light brings together children, adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities with their family and friends, according to a Faith and Light brochure. The chapter meets once a month at Holy Family Church for a gathering of music, a meal, prayer and faith. According to Coleman, the chapter has many volunteers, including students from Franciscan University of Steubenville.
