Sojourner Truth Federated Club will be hosting a membership social Friday at Eastern Gateway Community College’s Pugliese Center, 110 John Scott Highway, Steubenville, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Activities will include a meet and greet, sharing club information, games and refreshments. Sojourner Truth Federated Club is part of the Ohio Valley District of Colored Women’s Clubs. It is an affiliate of the National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs, the oldest black organization in the United States. The organization strives to advance the achievements of women and children.
