Northeast Ohio Medical University
Anna Plummer of Chester graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) with a doctorate in medicine and a master’s degree in medical ethics and humanities in a virtual commencement ceremony held May 2.
She is the daughter of Ron and Jeannie Plummer of Chester.
After graduating high school, she obtained bachelor’s degrees in biology and health sciences from West Virginia University in 2013 and Cleveland State University in 2016, respectively. Throughout her graduate education, she served as a pianist for Nessly Chapel and Trinity United Methodist Church in New Cumberland and was involved in multiple volunteer activities both on and off campus.
Plummer will begin her residency in emergency medicine this summer.
West Virginia University
School of Pharmacy
Madison Hill, daughter of Duff and Janet Hill of Chester, received a doctorate of pharmacy degree from the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy on May 15.
She attended WVUY from 2014-2020, obtained the Dean’s Outstanding Achievement Award, was inducted into the Rho Chi Pharmacy Academic Honorary Society and graduated magna cum laude.
This month, she will pursue a PGY1 (Post-Graduate Year One) specialist program at Intermountain Healthcare Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Columbus State Community College
The following students graduated from Columbus State Community College on May 8 following the spring semester: Paul E. Kincaid and Elissa D. Zapolnik, cum laude, both of Steubenville.
Zapolnik and Ashlee Taylor of Steubenville were named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.
College of William & Mary
Heather Rodenberg of Bethany recently graduated from the College of William & Mary.
She also was named to the spring semester dean’s list.
Clarion University
Clarion University of Pennsylvania has announced that Rachel Mason of Burgettstown made the spring dean’s list.
