Brooke Library book club to meet virtually on Thursday
WELLSBURG -- The Brooke County Public Library's book club will meet virtually to discuss Lisa See's "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan."
The group will meet online at 5 p.m. on Thursday and will learn of the book to be discussed at its next meeting.

Ohio Valley Mopar Club
plans car cruise for Sunday
WINTERSVILLE -- The Ohio Valley Mopar Club will hold a car cruise to benefit breast cancer awareness from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday at O'Reilly Auto Parts.
Registration is $3. There will be dash plaques, door prizes, a 50-50 drawing and music by disc jockey B Keeper and Queen Bee.

Piney Fork Legion Auxiliary
cancels meetings, fundraiser
PINEY FORK -- The American Legion Auxiliary Post 735 Piney Fork has canceled its monthly meetings for the remainder of this year.
The auxiliary also is canceling its annual spaghetti dinner that is traditionally held in mid-October as a fundraiser event.
"We want to thank all our patrons who have supported this event in past years and plan to continue this fundraiser again next year," noted Joyce Rensi, auxiliary secretary.
