Wintersville resident Virginia Price, 100, longtime member of the Steubenville Art Association and Signature member of the Ohio Watercolor Society, recently was honored at the close of her one-woman watercolor painting exhibit at Muskingum University's Palmer Gallery. The faculty threw the centenarian Price a surprise party, and university President Susan Hasseler presented her with a certificate for being an "Honorable Student" of the university "forever." Also, Price's her watercolor, titled "Ashore," was added to the university's permanent collection.
