Scholarship recipient

Blaire McUmar, left, graduating senior from Weir High School, has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the local P.E.O. Chapter AB, Weirton. She is the first recipient of the local award. With her is Jackie Scott, chairman of the Chapter AB local scholarship. P.E.O. is an international organization whose mission is to help recognize and reward women in advancing their educational goals.
