The Brilliant High School Class of 1970 recently held a 50+1-year reunion during the Brilliant Blue Devils celebration. Class members attending the dinner-dance held at the Mingo Knights of Columbus Hall were, seated, from left, Judy Verhovic, Cathy Hickman, Darlene Homol, Denise Lewis, Phyllis Bradley, Debbie (Polen) Ford, Becky Sue (Givens) Barnes, Janice (Kakascik) Hamilton and Nancy (McGough) Benton; and standing, Terry Durant, Steve Hill, Jeff Kamerer, Mike Nichols, Tom Joiner, Butch Ford, Susan Bell, DeeDee (Babb) Rusnak and Dave Benedict. The reunion festivities included a mixer at the Brilliant American Legion Post 573, a sock hop at Buckeye North School and a picnic at the Brilliant Boat Club.
